Out with the Cousins!

Mike's cousins came for a visit about 2 weeks ago. They were all excited to go to the beach! I wasn't sure how this little guy would handle, but he did... for all ten minutes! It was fun while it lasted!

Uncle Eric and Uncle Sean with cousins, Madeline, and Taylor all enjoying lunch with their newest cousin Kahiau. I was happily surprised to find out that Duke's the resturant down by Huntington Beach is a great family place! There were keikis everywhere and Kahiau loved being held by his Uncle Sean visiting from Virginia. Those guys are naturals!

Kahiau is now four months old. He weighs just as much as some of my friends babies who are almost 1 year old! Boy, are my arms getting stronger. He's getting ready for our super hot summer sporting his dino outfit which is a 12 month-er. He loves to ham it up for the camera. In this picture, Grandpa Okouchi tried to do a new trick, he got a flashlight to flash first so by the time his camera went off this little boy would be smiling. Sure enough, that flash did the trick.

This is a sweet smile from little Kahiau. He loves to pose for the camera, but you have to get it just right or you'll miss his wide open toothless grin. Surprisingly, he doesn't have both fists in his mouth. He's been doing this for a few weeks now, just this week he's now discovered he has fingers, YUM!
