Yes there were a lot of people there and it was getting hot. Notice the big library in the back and the stairs leading up to it. If you saw the new Star Trek this is one of the scenes from the movie that they filmed here on campus. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I will hopefully.

Grandpa Isaac made it in from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii to see his youngest son graduate with Honors and to catch up playing with his youngest grandson Kahiau.

At the ceremony we found a nice shady part where we adorned my bro with special leis from Hawaii. Its a tradition in Hawaii to give leis on special occasions and for graduation usually the leis go beyond the person's head. Here's Dad giving the traditional maile lei along with some candy leis from my grandma and papa .

More leis, including one of my favorite Puakinikini, which reminds me of that tree we had in our yard growing up. My mom and dad here with Kahiau are adding more onto the graduate! By this time everyone around us with their orchid leis are staring curiously at the different leis they've never seen before.
Not quite to the top of his head, but good enough! Here's me and V, my brother's girlfriend beaming proudly next to Makana on his special day!

We're all so excited for Makana and look forward to seeing all the amazing things he'll do in the future! Congratulations Bro!
